How to install the ASBA Progressive Web App (PWA) to your device

The PWA, or a progressive web app, is basically a web app that is able to be accessed through its own native icon rather than opening a URL in your browser.

If you are browsing the web from your Android mobile device, when opening the ASBA PWA you will most likely be prompted with a pop-up asking if you want to add the app to the home screen.

However, if you do not see a PWA install prompt straight away, simply follow these steps to quickly install the ASBA PWA to your mobile device.

How to add the ASBA PWA app to your mobile device Home Screen

Android users

1. Open your browser's settings (top right row of vertical dots).
2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home screen.
3. Confirm by tapping Add.

iPhone users

1. The ASBA app can only be installed by using Safari web browser. You cannot install using Chrome on iOS.
2. Click the icon at the bottom of your browser.
3. Scroll down a bit and select the "Add to Home Screen" option.
4. Confirm by tapping "Add" at the top right.

That's it! You have successfully installed the ASBA PWA to your device and now can access the installed web app simply by tapping the icon!

Install the ASBA PWA on desktop

It is also possible to install the ASBA PWA app on your desktop! Many popular browsers have already integrated the PWA Install experience.

To install the ASBA PWA app to your desktop:

1. Click on an install button in the address bar.
2. Click Install.
